For anyone who has ever lived in Malang, Gereja Ijen must has a special place in their heart. Gereja Ijen is the Cathedral of Malang Diocese. I do hope that these photos will help you to call your past. These photos were taken from inside the Church. As one of my friend were having the marriage blessing. Unfortunately, the camera didn’t catch enough light, as you can see, some of the photos are blurred, and have too much noise on the grey area. Bendungan Selorejo (Selorejo River Dam) is located in Selorejo Village, Ngantang, Malang. It is damming Konto river, one of Brantas’s anak sungai, about 50 km to the west from Malang. On the upper course of the Selorejo Rever Dam there is a smaller Dam, named Tokol Dam. This small dam is built to intercept and retain the sediment. While on the lower course there is Mendalan or Sekuli pool. This pool is also functioning as a Water Electricity Generator (23 mW). Gajayana Stadium is a multipurpose stadium located at the heart of Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Gajayana is actually one of the oldest stadium in Indonesia. It was built in 1924, finished in 1926. On early 90’s, Gajayana Stadium was renovated. Its capacity was enlarged to about 17.000. In 2007, Gajayana Stadium was once again restored. On the south of the stadium then built the MOG (Malang Olympic Garden) as an unseparated part of the Stadium itself. Now, the capacity of Gajayana Stadium is about 30.000. It is now used as a base camp for Arema Malang and Persema Malang, beside the Kanjuruhan Stadium.
